A big-deal bagel joint in Cambridge, Mass., has expanded their operations, piling chicken salad on pretzel dough and bakin' up the-bomb banana coffee bread. Then, a 24-hour vintage diner in downtown Chicago is busier than ever, keeping their loyal patrons and reeling in new ones with lights-out liver and onions, plus scratch-made meatloaf. And a Duluth smokehouse increased their space and menu offerings, plating zesty pepper porchetta and a legit lamb sammie with a curry kick.
