Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how StreamFlix (the “Service”) handles information when you visit the site. We have designed StreamFlix to be a lightweight, anonymous experience: you do not need to create an account, and we do not request, collect, or store personally identifying information directly.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require an account or login.
• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses.
• We do not collect any payment information — the Service is free to use.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, because we do not collect it.

2. Information Automatically Processed

Like virtually all websites, when you visit StreamFlix our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process certain non-identifying technical information for the purpose of delivering, securing, and improving the Service, including:

• IP address (used by our hosting provider for routing and abuse prevention).
• Browser type, operating system, and device characteristics.
• Referrer URL and pages viewed within the Service.
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics about usage patterns.

This information is processed solely to operate and secure the Service. We do not attempt to associate this information with any specific individual.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

The Service may use a minimal amount of browser storage strictly necessary for functionality (for example, remembering UI preferences). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Service itself. Note, however, that any third-party content embedded in the Service may set its own cookies governed by its own privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including:

• The Movie Database (TMDB)— for movie and TV show metadata. Requests for metadata are made server-side and your IP address is generally not shared with TMDB during browsing.
• Embedded video providers(such as XPrime) — when you initiate playback, your browser communicates directly with the third-party provider in order to load the video player. That provider may collect technical information governed by their own privacy policy. We do not control and are not responsible for their data practices.
• Hosting and analytics— standard infrastructure providers that may process the technical information described above.

5. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Service, please note that, as described above, we generally do not collect such information.

6. Security

Although we do not collect personal data, we take reasonable measures — including secure server-side handling of API credentials and HTTPS encryption — to protect the integrity of the Service.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not maintain personal data about visitors, requests for access, deletion, or correction generally do not apply. Concerns about data processed by third-party providers should be directed to the relevant provider in accordance with its own privacy policy.

8. International Visitors

The Service is operated as a globally accessible website. By using the Service, you understand that any technical information processed for operational purposes may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.
