Michael Tippett's powerful oratorio A Child of Our Time features in continuing live coverage from the Royal Albert Hall, London. The piece marks its composer's centenary as well as the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Roger Norrington conducts Indra Thomas (soprano), Christine Rice (mezzo-soprano), Ian Bostridge (tenor), Willard White (bass), and the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
