Saturday Report was the primary Saturday newscast aired on CBC Television and CBC Newsworld from 1982 to 2009. Jacquie Perrin was the program's most recent regular anchor, although that position had rotated frequently among CBC personalities in the newscast's later years. Its format has also changed over the years, with a lengthy sports highlights segment - found in few other CBC newscasts - replaced by additional features and panel discussions in 2001. The program was rebranded as the Saturday edition of The National in September 2009, shortly before the news division's overall relaunch in late October. CBC News: Sunday Night was similarly replaced at the same time. Saturday Report had already been using the same graphics and music as the weekday program since 2001. During the season of Hockey Night in Canada, the newscast aired nationwide at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT on CBC Television. Otherwise it aired at 6:00 p.m. local time. Additional airings were at 5:00, 9:00 and 12:00 midnight ET on Newsworld, with the 9:00 edition being frequently updated from the early-evening broadcast. The Saturday edition of The National currently follows a similar broadcast schedule.

First Business is a nationally syndicated financial news and analysis television program, produced by First Business Network LLC, a subsidiary of Weigel Broadcasting, in Chicago. Anchor Angela Miles, Reporters Chuck Coppola, Bill Moller, and Executive Producer Harvey Moshman bring viewers commentary from the floors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange, as well as from their studios in the West Loop. The program covers the financial and economic markets including equities, futures, options, commodities, foreign exchange and geo-political news.
CBC News: Sunday was a weekly television newsmagazine series in Canada, which aired on Sunday mornings on both CBC Newsworld and CBC Television. The program first went on the air in February 2002, offering exclusive and headline news, behind-the-scenes reports, in-depth interviews with world leaders and newsmakers such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ralph Nader, Kofi Annan and the Dalai Lama. The program, hosted by Evan Solomon and Carole MacNeil, focused on ethics, spirituality and media accountability. It covered current news stories, but also examines how these stories are covered by the media. After eight seasons on air, on May 31, 2009, CBC News: Sunday aired its final episode in front of a live audience in the CBC Atrium. The show has won more than 40 national and international awards and nominations: "Deadline Iraq: Uncensored Stories of the War," a gripping documentary about what the public doesn't see from the front in Iraq, won the Red Cross Prize at the Monte Carlo TV Festival; “Beyond Words: Photographers of War” won Best Short Feature, National at the 2005 Gabriel Awards, as well as a Bronze Medal at the 2005 Columbus International Film & Video Festival, and a 2005 Gemini Award Nomination for Best Magazine Segment, while Evan Solomon won the 2005 Gemini for Best Host Interviewer.
The Big Breakfast is a Canadian morning news and entertainment program, that aired on the A-Channel stations and CKX from 1997 to 2005. It has no relation to the UK show of the same name. Each A-Channel station produced and broadcast its own Big Breakfast. CKX aired CHMI's Winnipeg edition. The anchors were Jon Ljungberg and Jimmy Mac in Winnipeg, Mark Scholz and Steve Antle in Edmonton and Dave Kelly and Tara McCool in Calgary On December 1, 2004, CHUM Limited officially took over ownership of the A-Channel system, and the stations were re-launched as Citytv on August 2, 2005. The Big Breakfast was also relaunched as Breakfast Television, the name Citytv uses for its similar morning shows, on the same day the stations were rebranded. The A-Channel brand was subsequently transferred to CHUM's former NewNet stations, whose own morning programs were retitled A-Channel Morning.
Kidsbeat is a Canadian children's television news series that aired on the Global Television Network during the mid-1980s. Airing Saturdays at 12:30 p.m., the program featured various news stories and specials focusing on issues that mattered to kids. It also had a strong emphasis on pop culture, including a segment with short clips from the week's top 5 singles, and sometimes featured video games. TV Patrol North Central Luzon is anchored by experienced Dagupan City news anchor Cris Zuñiga. The program is backed by a formidable team of ABS-CBN reporters. Notably, TV Patrol North Central Luzon is the first regional TV Patrol newscast to use the new TV Patrol visual and audio packages which were introduced on March 5, 2012 for the national newscast. The localized version for TV Patrol North Central Luzon was introduced on December 17, 2012.

It was the first late-night newscast of the network from August 2, 1999 to July 12, 2002 and became the early evening newscast from July 15, 2002 and ended on March 12, 2004 to make way for 24 Oras. The Slogan for the newscast is Headlines Bukas, Ngayon ang Broadcast, and Pawang Katotohanan Lamang.
European Market Wrap was a business news programme aired on CNBC Europe. The programme was originally based on the CNBC U.S. programme Market Wrap, which was later replaced by the programme Closing Bell. The show followed the final moments of trade across Europe and went on location to reporters who gave the action from their respective areas. Throughout the show, US market updates were also included. Like its US counterpart, European Market Wrap was eventually replaced by European Closing Bell.

The show premiered on February 28, 2011. It is aired in the Philippines, Weeknights at 7:00 PM–7:30 PM. The program will air its final episode on October 7, 2011, as it will be replaced by Showbiz Exclusives.

Le TVA 18 heures is the 6PM ET supper-hour newscast on TVA, a French language television network in the Canadian province of Quebec which is also available across Canada on cable. The program consists of a network-wide portion anchored by Pierre Bruneau from Montreal, followed by regional segments hosted by the local news anchors at each individual station. The sole exception is CFCM in Quebec City, which produces its own edition of the program anchored by Pierre Jobin.
